Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Authorities with the Jackson Police Department (JPD) say that they have arrested two people in connection to a shooting that took place in the City of Jackson on Tuesday afternoon.
On April 14, officers with the JPD responded to the 100 block of Wall Street for a shooting.
The victim, who suffered a gunshot wound to the neck, was transported to the hospital with what officials described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say the victim was inside of his home when suspects, who were outside, began firing in the area of the residence.
According to the JPD, a 22-year-old man was arrested in relation to the incident for assault with the intent to murder, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and violating a personal protection order.
Another 22-year-old man was arrested for a conditional bond violation in relation to the shooting.
