Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson YMCA will be holding their Party For A Cause fundraising event this Saturday from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. The Oscars-inspired event featuring a red carpet is happening at the Michigan Theatre on N Mechanic Street.
Jackson YMCA CEO Shawna Tello and COO Theresa Horne explained to WKHM that the party will feature food and drinks, desserts, a cash bar, and a great atmosphere.
The leadership at the YMCA believes that the fundraiser is not just an exciting way to raise money, but is also a way for them to say thank you to those who generously donate to their efforts.
Those efforts including the recent renovations and repairs to the space on Wesley Street that have members at the location feeling like it’s a brand new building.
