Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson County Animal Shelter is hosting their “Pawfectly Matched” adoption event on Thursday (September 3) from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the shelter’s Volunteer and Event Manager Jessii Raymond explained to WKHM how it comes with a bit of a twist to the usual animal adoption process.
Raymond went into detail about the origins for the idea, with a staged concept video evolving into a reality for the Jackson County Animal Shelter and others.
While the total time period for the event is two hours, participants who are chosen will have no reason to worry about waiting too long to find their newest pet.
