Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has announced that they have issued a permit to Metro Fibernet LLC for utility work on I-94 at M-106 (Cooper Street) in Jackson.
The work is scheduled to occur early Sunday morning on January 18, with the work expected to begin at 7:00 a.m. and is estimated to end at 11:00 a.m. the same morning.
MDOT says this project will require intermittent lane closures on I-94 at M-106 (Cooper Street) throughout the operation to ensure the safety of utility workers and motorists.
Traffic control will be maintained by the Michigan State Police, and motorists should expect delays while the work is ongoing.
