Sheriff Gary Schuette reports that on Sunday, April 21st at 1:50 a.m., Deputies from the JAckson County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 100 block of Lincoln Court in Summit Township for shots fired.
Deputies were in the area investigating a noise complaint when the heard gunshots. Deputies made contact with a 43-year-old male Jackson County resident, who was suffering from a gunshot wound to head. The man was transported to Henry Ford Hospital Jackson for treatment. It was determined that man had non-life-threatening injuries and was treated and released. No suspects have been identified at this time, as the investigation is ongoing.
