Jackson, Mich. (WKHM, Greg O’Connor) — Jackson Mayor Daniel Mahoney joined WKHM Wednesday morning. One topic of discussion was pushing the Lansing Ave. rebuild debate back to the next meeting. Residents are quite unhappy with possible assessments. The mayor himself wants to find a way to “pay for the damn roads” — one idea that has been bounced is a possible millage. Mahoney says although that would seem like a real long shot, it would give the voters their chance for input and be a part of the conversation. Hear more from Mayor Mahoney below.
