There is still some time to donate to The Salvation Army’s red kettle campaign. As of January 12th, 2021, The Salvation Army is just 5% away from their goal of $310,000 for its 2020 campaign. In 135 years of service, The Salvation Army has been at the forefront of the fight against poverty in Jackson County.
Corps Officer Major Jose Tamayo said “We are grateful and humbled by the wonderful generosity of the greater Jackson community in the response to the need of their neighbors in support of the Red Kettle Campaign. This support is vital in allowing us to provide help and hope all year long.”
